I get so wrapped up in my process of hyper-shading EVERYTHING, that I sometimes forget that sketches can be… sketchy! And my current sketchbook is not super high quality, so these are the doodles I made on the backs of better drawings, which I will show you :)
This month totally flew by, and I do feel I accomplished some things artistically and grown-up-wise in my absence. But camp is only a week away, and I am so not ready to go!!!
Hahaha, I’ve been away from home and without a scanner for a few weeks and totally forgot to mention it here. If you’re starved for some sketchy sketches, catch up on insta or twitter! Otherwise I look forward to sharing some things with you when I get back :D
I bought Dragon’s Dogma for the 3rd time (PS4, I don’t have the Switch yet!), so now I get to self-insert into that universe all over again!

New Commissions post with updated prices! Polished and painted looking portraits are 50 USD. The main thing is that I’m changing up how my commissions other than portraits are going to work. I’m going to be more experimental and loose than just calling it a “sketch”. I basically am going to do what I think looks best - it might end up kind of painterly w/ some odd colors, might wind up with minimal colors, might wind up with some abstraction. Basically letting me go wild with whatever you send me and giving me free reign to do what I want to create the best piece of art possible. For waist ups like this it’s going to be 45 USD and for couple art in this vein its going to be 80 USD. Examples of commissions I’ve done can be found here!!

5/12/2012 was a very special day, since it was the birthday of my first real long-term RPG character: PLUME, from my gang’s campaign of Cyberpunk: 2020! Here’s a little sketch to celebrate my favorite Rugged Desert Pirate, Murder Husband, Worst Nurse and Best Nomad, whizzing through the hot sand on his bike ‘The Thundergod,’ Smart-whip and Spunky Halberd in hand.

DnD Sketch-dump, and pretty much all that’s been grabbing my attention lately!
My friend group started a short campaign on the side of what I usually post about. I’m glad to have the opportunity to play with some of my pals who don’t usually get in on the games, and as a result, I think we’re all more or less sticking to our guns in terms character design! On another night, my new pal ran a one-shot with me, his dad and my mom, so I tried to create something as un-like my type as inhumanly possible XD
